Bored? Looking for something to do inside?
So here we go! Here are my 10 things to do inside when you're bored!
Start a blog!
While it might be the worst time in recent memory for blog traffic, there's no better time to start a blog than when you have plenty of free time on your hands.
The set-up and starting the blog truly is the hardest part. Once the traffic comes back, this hobby can even make you some money! Not many hobbies can say that! Check out a few free resources on this blog, about starting blogs: Read a book
Online Shop
At least currently, we're still sending and receiving packages, so look for some fun spring outfits to brighten your day! You've finally got time to dig through all of Nordstrom Rack's offerings and find the good deals! For 2020's Top Spring trends, check out my guest post on Julia & Elizabeth's decorating blog!
Watch TV/a Movie
We certainly can't be productive all the time. I know we're all looking for some shows to devour! If it's a TV binge you're in for, check out my British Detective Series (and how to stream them!). I promise they'll keep you entertained for hours upon hours! If it's movies you fancy, we're trying to work our way through the 100 Best Movies of All Time.
Organize your closets
Bake Something Delicious
I'm trying to improve my baking skills, now that I have some more time on my hands. The more complicated the recipe you can pull off, the better! Did you know Fortnum & Mason has excellent cookbooks available stateside?
Call a FriendTake up a Craft
I recently started knitting and I'll freely admit I'm slightly addicted! Easy to do while chatting or watching TV.
Support Small Businesses
Everyone being stuck at home is taking quite a toll on our area's small businesses. So head online, and buy a gift card. Or, start doing research on a trip you'll take down the road, and visit those struggling travel blogs (like mine - thank you!)
Make Some Tea
When in doubt, do as the Brits and resort to a "cuppa." Not so much caffeine that you'll be bouncing off the walls, but warm and comforting, as always!
Play a board game/ do a puzzle
My new favorite activity! We are full-on for puzzles lately! And we have a board game collection to rival one of those shops where you can drinks beers and rent them out. Stop by Amazon for games and puzzles! And check out my Top 10 Travel-Themed Board Games, if you're missing being able to explore the world!
Thanks for stopping by!
