Thanks so much for stopping by! Here you'll find straight-forward advice for the luxury traveler looking to keep the price tag attainable. I'm a big firm lawyer in the U.S. by day, but spend several weeks a year in Europe, in addition to around five trips throughout the U.S. and Canada.
My ideal day is a croissant and a cup of coffee, a 2 mile self-guided historical walk (I was a history major at William & Mary - so you're in for your fair share of historical blurbs on this blog and sometimes I'm the guide), a slightly boozy lunch, a tour of a world-famous cathedral, two pubs, and back to the hotel, asleep by 10 PM. If that sounds like a plan to you, stick around and see if you can learn from my mistakes! It's "sensible luxury" as we're neither backpacking nor flying on private jets. I'll take a cab when I feel like it, but I'll make up for it with a Pret sandwich for lunch. And I spend the vast majority of my travel budget on fancy hotels.
Let me know what you're interested in hearing, and I shall provide!
