Noémie Eternity Band: Browsing & Ordering

So let's discuss the ring itself! I've been looking for a diamond band to add to my jewelry collection for a while. Knowing what I was in the market for, locating and narrowing down my options on Noémie's website was pretty simple. 

​With stackables being so en vogue right now, I knew I wanted a diamond ring that I could wear with my engagement & wedding rings and that would also look lovely on its own, particularly one that I would feel comfortable taking with me on trips where I want to leave my wedding set at home.

FAQ: What if I don't know my ring size?
If you're concerned about fit, or that you aren't sure of your size, you can actually text Noémie and they'll send you a free, physical ring sizer! You can also pop over to your neighborhood jewelry store and they can get your ring size calculated. Be sure to measure the finger you intend to wear the ring on - some people's hands are significantly different ring sizes! 

I was torn between three of Noémie's diamond ring options:

1. Diamond Eternity Band 
2. Half Band Bezel Diamond Ring
3. Petit Diamond Band Ring

I didn't end up having any questions that I needed answered while I was shopping for rings, but I did appreciate that their website had an available live chat during the shopping process.

Ultimately, I opted for the diamond eternity band, as it has diamonds all the way around (hence the "eternity") and a minimal amount of setting around each individual diamond. The eternity band seemed the best match for my desire to be able to wear the ring with or without my other rings, and being 1/3 of a carat was exactly the weight I had been hoping for. As my wedding set doesn't have diamonds all the way around the finger, I though this would spice it up a bit!

My highly anticipated Noémie ring shipped the day I ordered it! I finally made my choice and placed my order late on a Friday afternoon, and the ring arrived at lunch time on Monday. Not bad! Had it not been for the silly weekend intervening, I've only have had to wait one day!

So, if you're looking for a quick Valentine's Day/ birthday gift and you've left it a bit late, you're in luck!

My ring arrived in the sweetest box - I was glad I was planning to share it on the blog, because I felt compelled to take bunches of pictures, regardless. Had I been giving the ring as a gift, it would have been ready-to-go upon arrival.

​The ring also came with a surprise Noémie tote bag, and its IGI (International Gemological Institute) Certificate, showing its diamond specifics and appraised value ($1250!)

Luckily for me, I knew my ring size, and upon arrival, my ring fit exactly as expected!

​It is very slight and dainty. It sits fairly close to the hand. The diamonds are nestled in the setting enough so that they don't scratch my other fingers, but not so far that they can't catch the light to sparkle!

FAQ: Do the diamonds in the band chafe?
I was worried that the diamonds would chafe against my other fingers, as I'd heard this can be an issue with eternity bands. Luckily, no such issues. While it's obviously not completely smooth, the ring is thin enough that it doesn't interfered with putting my fingers together more than a normal ring, and the setting isn't pokey enough to hurt.

I couldn't be happier with the quality of this band. The diamonds are brilliant and continually sparkling. The finish of the white gold is smooth and shining.

I've worn it every day for nearly a week now, and and have received so many compliments. I'm debating adding another to the collection, as I've seen lots of pictures on the website of other customers putting together 2 or 3 (we all know I'd prefer 3!)
