Considering building a Quince capsule wardrobe?

I’ve turned into a big Quince fan this past year, ever since my first Quince purchase. I was initially tempted by the incredible prices that truly seemed too good to be true, but, I'll admit, my hopes weren't high.

To my surprise, the Quince pieces I reach for most aren’t just inexpensive. They're versatile, comfortable, and actually fit me well without tailoring. Since my very first Quince purchases last year, Quince has won me over with its classic style, natural fabrics, cashmere sweaters, and high-quality fabrics. They’re the clothes and accessories that show up in my weekly rotation, on trips, and in moments where I just want something reliable that feels… effortless.
Today we'll walk through my ultimate list of the Quince basics I keep grabbing, why I love them, and how I wear them/ my suggestions for how you should style them.

What Makes a Repeat‑Use Basic

Before we get into the list, here’s what I mean by “repeat‑use” basics:
  • Versatile across outfits — not just travel or comfort wear
  • Easy to style with pieces you already own
  • Quality that holds up (for me, at least with everyday wear and travel)

Frequently Asked Questions about Quince

FAQ: How long is Quince's return window?
Quince allows the return of unworn, unwashed merchandise with tags on FOR ONE YEAR. It's a huge selling point for me, as I'm often pressed for time and hate having to waste time doing returns one-by-one.

FAQ: Where can I find honest reviews of Quince?
Right here! I haven't even been compensated for this review or received free product from Quince. I'm just very excited about the items I purchased. This is really my first time buying from DTC brands.

FAQ: What are DTC brands?
DTC stands for "direct to consumer" meaning that these brands sell their product 'directly' to the end-user without selling at a department store or retailer. The classic 'cut out the middleman.'

FAQ: How does Quince sizing run?
In my experience, Quince tops are true to size and bottoms are slightly small, especially when pants are in S/M/L, rather than numbered, sizing.

FAQ: Do Quince basics hold up after washing?
Yes. The Quince basics I own have held up well after washing when I follow the care instructions, with minimal fading or pilling.

FAQ: How does Quince compare to other affordable basics brands?
I've found the Quince staples I've bought to be significantly better quality than affordable basics brands, and even "mainstream" brands I normally shop at the mall, at a drastically reduced price. (I'm a fan!!)

FAQ: Would I buy Quince basics again at full price?
Yes. I have gotten a surprising amount of wear out of my Quince purchases. There's a good reason I keep going back, for a year now.

Quince Pieces I Wear Again & Again

Below are pieces from my closet that I actually reach for, wear often, and feel like real wardrobe workhorses. And, probably most importantly, everything I've listed here is machine washable (within reason - not the shoes, c'mon). Yes, machine washable cashmere and dress pants.

Lightweight Cotton Cashmere ‑Stitch Dolman Sweater
So soft and easy to dress up or down — perfect for travel days, coffee runs, or layering on cooler evenings. I wear it with the linen pants in the matching green.

Ultra‑Stretch Ponte Super Wide Leg Ankle Pants
These pants feel like pajamas, but look polished enough to wear out — I wear them for travel, errands, and even dinners out.

Mongolian Cashmere Oversized Crewneck Sweater
A cozy classic I pull out every fall/winter season. Neutral colors and a relaxed fit make it a staple. It's an oversized sweater that doesn't drown me (I'm super short, in case you can't tell). And I know I'll be wearing it into early spring.

100% Organic Cotton Cropped Cable Crew Sweater
Great texture and structure without feeling bulky. It's a modernized fisherman sweater that pairs with jeans, skirts, or travel pants.

100% Organic Cotton Mock Neck Sweater
A basic cotton sweater, not cropped, with slightly long sleeves, that I wear on every cold winter day.

100% European Linen Pants
Perfect for warmer weather or travel — breathable, comfortable, and versatile with tees or layers. And they don't squeeze my stomach, which is key. That said, even Quince can't solve the 'linen is wildly wrinkly' problem...but if anyone can, maybe someday they will.

Italian Leather Everyday Sneaker
Not technically clothing, but these shoes get constant wear — practical, stylish, and comfy for walking. And, since they're white, polished enough to wear with a dress or out to dinner.

Italian Leather Handwoven Sling Bag
A classic neutral bag that elevates almost any outfit but still feels everyday.

How I Style These Quince Repeat-Use Basics

Here’s how I typically wear my Quince repeat-use basics in my everyday life:
  • Work (on-camera) or my charity events: Ponte pants + lightweight sweater + sneakers
  • Errands/Coffee in summer: Linen pants + mock neck sweater
  • Cooler days: Cashmere crewneck with layered shirt underneath
  • Everyday: Cable crew sweater with denim or casual pant

Packing & Travel Recommendations

Most of these pieces pack beautifully:
  • Neutral colors mean fewer outfit decisions
  • Easy fabrics — nothing super delicate
  • Layers that transition between seasons
I often bring the ponte pants, cashmere crewneck, crossbody, and sneakers on trips because they cover a range of weather and situations without overpacking.

Quince Try-on Hauls

Thanks for Stopping By!

These Quince basics earned their spot in my rotation, and I’d reach for them again in a heartbeat. I've linked everything here so you can join me in my Quince obsession!
